SENIOR ANALYST – TRONDHEIM/HELSINKI/OSLO
SKM Market Predictor is looking for Senior Analyst Nordic/European power market to enhance our expansion of the market leading analytical services and advisory.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in a team of professionals to deliver all aspects of power market analysis
- Actively participate in the short, medium and long-term operational analysis
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to continuously improve the analytical services offered by the company
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the analysis team, encouraging the exploration of new methodologies, techniques, and data sources
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic recommendations based on analytical findings
We are looking for candidates with:
- University degree in energy studies, mathematics or statistics
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in energy market analytics
- In-depth knowledge of the Nordic and/or European power industry, energy trading and market structure
- Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools and platforms, with a preference for experience in working with energy market data and modeling tools
- Ability to cooperate with cross cultural agile team in several locations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and preferably in one of the Nordic languages
